Muddy Waters Cafe is very fortunate to be located directly on the historic Erie Canal. The New York State Canal way trail for bicycles and hikers runs directly through the cafe's side lawn. As a result we are lucky to get bicyclists from around the world, sharing stories and offering advice to fellow cyclists and all others interested. We have the community camping area, showers and bathrooms in our other side lawn. This is perfect for the bicyclists traveling thru to either continue on the NYS trail or to pick up the Seaway trail heading northward.

Muddy Waters is also located in Palmyra NY, the birthplace of the Church of the Latter Day Saints. You can often find a group of LSD members from out of state, sharing meals and travel adventures, giving a close sense of community while miles from home.
